Important: We're Transitioning to a New Online Giving Platform
Dear Faithful Parishioners,
Thank you for your generous financial support and consistent giving to the Proto-Cathedral of St. James the Greater. We are so grateful for your generosity.
In an effort to continue to be good stewards of your donations, The Proto-Cathedral is going to be moving to a new online giving platform. As we begin the transition to PushPay as our online giving platform, we want to share why this change is happening. After careful review we have decided to move away from our current online giving platform to the PushPay system for several reasons: it integrates with our new parish database saving data entry time and ensuring accurate accounting of your faithful contributions, it offers lower processing fees, and provides a more secure and user-friendly experience for you. This means your gifts go even further in supporting the Proto-cathedral and our various programs. We strive to be good stewards of your donations!!!
Our goal is to help all of our contributors move to the new online giving platform by December 31, 2025, so we need your help to move your current online giving to the PushPay platform. It’s a simple, two-step process that will take no more than 10 minutes. We are happy to assist you if you encounter any difficulty, so please don’t hesitate to reach out for assistance.
We invite you to begin using the new giving platform by following these steps:
1. Set up your new recurring gift through PushPay
Visit: pushpay.com/g/protocathedral - this will direct you to a very user-friendly donation page to set up your donation. The recurring gift option should already be selected, and you can simply set up your automatic gift. After you set up your recurring gift you will be prompted to complete the setup of your new account.
Please do this before canceling your existing OSV gift, to avoid any interruption in your support.
2. Cancel your recurring gift in OSV
Once your new gift is in PushPay, please cancel any scheduled gifts in our current online giving platform, OSV.
You may visit: osvhub.com/protocathedral/giving/funds
At this site, you will have the ability to cancel your existing recurring online gift. If you would like us to cancel your recurring gift on OSV please fill out the form located HERE. Our goal is to transition to the new system prior to December 31, 2025—please help us in accomplishing that goal!! If you’d like assistance setting up your new PushPay account, we’re happy to help.
