  • 10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)

    • Lyrics:

Chorus

Bless the Lord O my soul O my soul

Worship His holy name

Sing like never before O my soul

I'll worship Your holy name

Verse 1

The sun comes up it's a new day dawning

It's time to sing Your song again

Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me

Let me be singing when the evening comes

Verse 2

You're rich in love and You're slow to anger

Your name is great and Your heart is kind

For all Your goodness I will keep on singing

Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find

Verse 3

And on that day when my strength is failing

The end draws near and my time has come

Still my soul will sing Your praise unending

Ten thousand years and then forevermore

  • Goodness of God

    • Lyrics:

Verse 1

I love You Lord

Oh Your mercy never fails me

All my days

I've been held in Your hands

From the moment that I wake up

Until I lay my head

I will sing of the goodness of God

Chorus

All my life You have been faithful

All my life You have been so so good

With every breath that I am able

I will sing of the goodness of God

Verse 2

I love Your voice

You have led me through the fire

In darkest night

You are close like no other

I've known You as a father

I've known You as a friend

I have lived in the goodness of God

Bridge

Your goodness is running after

It’s running after me

Your goodness is running after

It’s running after me

With my life laid down

I’m surrendered now

I give You everything

Your goodness is running after

It's running after me

  • We Are Called

    • Lyrics:

Come, live in the light
Shine with the joy and the love of the Lord
We are called to be light for the kingdom
To live in the freedom of the city of God

We are called to act with justice
We are called to love tenderly
We are called to serve one another
To walk humbly with God

Come, open your heart
Show your mercy to all those in fear
We are called to be hope for the hopeless
So all hatred and blindness will be no more

We are called to act with justice
We are called to love tenderly
We are called to serve one another
To walk humbly with God

Sing, sing a new song
Sing of that great day when all will be one
God will reign and we'll walk with each other
As sisters and brothers united in love (united in love)

We are called to act with justice
We are called to love tenderly
We are called to serve one another
To walk humbly with God

We are called to act with justice
We are called to love tenderly (We are called)
We are called to serve one another
To walk humbly with God

Welcoming Statements

  • Shane McCormick from Parish Family 45

  • Fr. Kyle, "Why are we here?"

Opening Prayer

  • English: Creator of all, you have formed every human with love and intrinsic dignity. Be with your children throughout our nation. Grant our immigrant neighbors your peace, especially those who are overwhelmed with fear. Grant our policy-makers your compassion toward those who come to our country seeking safety and justice. Grant our congregations your courage to stand up for those on the margins of our society. Lord, who is continually moving, migrating toward justice, help our community to see your face in our immigrant neighbors. Give us all the grace to be your presence in this world.

Scripture Reading - Deuteronomy 10:17-20

  • English: “The LORD, your God, is the God of gods, the Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who has no favorites, accepts no bribes, who executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and loves the resident alien, giving them food and clothing. So you too should love the resident alien, for that is what you were in the land of Egypt. The LORD, your God, shall you fear, and him shall you serve; to him hold fast and by his name shall you swear.”

Scripture Reading - Matthew 25:31

  • English: Jesus said to his disciples:
"When the Son of Man comes in his glory,
and all the angels with him,
he will sit upon his glorious throne,
and all the nations will be assembled before him.
And he will separate them one from another,
as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
Then the king will say to those on his right,
'Come, you who are blessed by my Father.
Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
For I was hungry and you gave me food,
I was thirsty and you gave me drink,
a stranger and you welcomed me,
    naked and you clothed me,
ill and you cared for me,
in prison and you visited me.’
Then the righteous will answer him and say,
'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you,
or thirsty and give you drink?
When did we see you a stranger and welcome you,
    or naked and clothe you?
When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’
And the king will say to them in reply,
'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did
for one of the least brothers of mine, you did for me.’

Faith Leader Prayers

The Prayer of the People of God

  • Moment of Silence for Prayer Intentions

The Lord's Prayer in Spanish

  • English: Our Father

    • Our Father who art in heaven,
      hallowed be thy name.
      Thy kingdom come.
      Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
      and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
      but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory,
      forever and ever. Amen.

  • Spanish: Padre nuestro

    • Padre nuestro que estás en el cielo,
      santificado sea tu Nombre;
      venga a nosotros tu Reino;
      hágase tu voluntad
en la tierra como en el cielo.
      Danos hoy
      nuestro pan de cada día;
      perdona nuestras ofensas,
      como también nosotros perdonamos
      a los que nos ofenden;
no nos dejes caer en la tentación,
      y líbranos del mal. Amén.

Final Blessing

  • God of love, from the profound communion of your divine life, pour out upon this people a torrent of love. Heal every wound, overcome every division, calm every anxiety, and grant courage and strength to face every challenge. Come, Holy Spirit, and show us your beauty reflected in all the peoples of the earth, to discover that all are important, that they are all necessary, that they are all different faces of the same humanity that you love. Amen.

Dismissal

Music

  • Good Good Father

    • Lyrics:

Verse 1
I've heard a thousand stories
Of what they think You’re like
But I've heard the tender whisper
Of love in the dead of night
You tell me that You’re pleased
And that I'm never alone

Chorus
You're a Good Good Father
It's who You are
It's who You are
It's who You are
And I'm loved by You
It's who I am
It's who I am
It's who I am

Verse 2
I've seen many searching for answers
Far and wide
But I know we're all searching for answers
Only You provide
Because You know just what we need
Before we say a word

Bridge
You are perfect in all of Your ways
You are perfect in all of Your ways
You are perfect in all of Your ways to us

Verse 3
Love so undeniable I can hardly speak
Peace so unexplainable I can hardly think
As You call me deeper still
As You call me deeper still
As You call me deeper still
Into love love love
