BEREAVEMENT MINISTRY

Bereavement Ministry.png

Among countless others, one benefit of belonging to a faith community is journeying together through the joys and trials of life. Given time we share in the births, sacramental milestones, and losses within our community and family of faith. For those who have experienced a death, having the comfort of a fellow parishioner to sit with at Mass, or share a meal with can be lifegiving.

Whether you have experienced a recent death, or continue to grieve a loss from long ago, we invite you to gather with others experiencing loss and join in our bereavement ministry. Presently, our group meets at St. Joseph on the first and third Tuesday of the month from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the St. John Paull II Library. We are in the process of coordinating a second bereavement group that will meet at Our Lady of Lourdes parish during the evening hours. Please check back to learn more.
