Our archdiocese annual Summer Liturgy Intensive is back! These free virtual workshops are for clergy and lay, volunteers and staff who want to learn more about the liturgy.

The presentations are especially geared towards those who coordinate parish or school liturgies. Join in one or all four sessions!

Monday, August 17: POPE LEO AND THE LITURGY

What has Pope Leo XIV said about the liturgy so far in his pontificate? We’ll explore the Holy Father’s vision for the liturgy as revealed in his writings and teachings to date, especially his commentaries on Sacrosanctum Concilium, The Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy.

Tuesday, August 18: BOOT CAMP FOR LITURGY COORDINATORS

This presentation is about all things practical: preparing, planning, communicating, and coordinating. This presentation is especially geared towards liturgy planners and ministry coordinators – veterans as well as those brand-new to this wonderful ministry.

Wednesday, August 19: CELEBRATING THE RITES AT SUNDAY MASS

Let’s talk about best practices for integrating the rites, including Baptisms and the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, into the regular weekend Masses.

Thursday, August 20: LIVING THE LITURGICAL YEAR

All year long, we celebrate the Paschal Mystery, through the feasts and seasons of the liturgical year. In this presentation, we’ll explore the seasons of the liturgical year and ways to bring them to life in the parish community.
